CANAN 1970 yılında İstanbul‘da doğdu.  Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi, Resim Bölümü’ndeki eğitimini 1998’de tamamlayan CANAN, İstanbul, Amerika ve Almanya’da çeşitli misafir sanatçı programlarına katıldı.

Kişisel sergi ve projeleri arasında “Işıl Isıl Karanlık”, Rampa Galeri, Istanbul (2016) “Yalvarırım Bana Aşktan Söz Etme” Siyah Beyaz Galeri, Ankara (2014); X-ist’te gerçekleştirdiği “Türk Lokumu” (2012) ve “Bıyık Kedide de Vardır” (2010). Ayrıca “Tecrit” KIBLA Multimedia Center, Maribor (2010); “Bahname”, Masa Projesi, İstanbul (2007); “…nihayet içimdesin”, İstanbul (2000) yer alır.

CANAN (Istanbul, 1970) graduated from Marmara University, Fine Arts Faculty. She has participated in residency programs in Istanbul, USA and in Germany.
